About Me

Hi, I’m Jonathan Jung — an ECMO Specialist still early in my journey. I don’t have all the answers, but I’m curious and committed to learning. I started ECMO 143: AI-Assisted Journey to document what I’m studying and share what I uncover along the way.

I use the AI tools I’ve built, real clinical scenarios, and a Feynman-style notebook of “things I don’t understand yet.” I take complex ECMO ideas and break them down so they make sense — first for me, and hopefully for anyone else learning this craft.

Alongside this, I also created ECMO 143: A Patient & Family Guide — a plain-language resource to help patients and families understand ECMO without the medical noise. It’s the same mission of clarity, just written for people facing ECMO at the bedside rather than in training.

I’m grateful for the experienced clinicians who’ve helped me grow. This site is my way of learning out loud. Thanks for being part of the journey.
